Radio Active Designs Moves Headquarters To Orlando

Radio Active Designs, provider of the UV-1G analog wireless intercom system and related products, has announced the relocation of its headquarters from East Rutherford, NJ to Orlando, FL following the expansion of its Orlando customer service location in 2023 with the appointment of Tony Pittsley as general manager.

“Moving headquarters to this location consolidates inventory and customer service to one location, which is ideal due to the proximity of our largest users while being close enough to offer customer support to East Coast clients,” explains Pittsley. “This move allows us to handle all repairs, shipping, and receiving of Radio Active Designs equipment, while decreasing customer repair turnaround time from weeks to days. We also stock inventory here, offering clients more convenience, communications uptime, and lower repair costs.”

The Radio Active Designs UV-1G analog wireless intercom system is designed to streamline setup by offering RF channels with just 25 kHz occupied bandwidth while using the relatively unused VHF range for all belt pack portable devices. Enhanced Narrow Band technology makes the transmitter’s occupied bandwidth more predictable and more spectrally efficient than current FM technology.

“With the extremely crowded state of the 1.9 GHz band, the UV-1G is more relevant than ever for production use,” adds Radio Active Design COO James Stoffo. “We are again running out of RF spectrum for wireless – we see it everywhere. Our move to Orlando only solidified our ongoing commitment to provide solutions for production houses.”
